Mine Services Facilities

All civil works, electrical and mechanical services, including instrumentation. Services include compressed air, pressurised potable, process and fire water systems.

Heavy equipment support facilities

Detailed design and equipment selection. Civil and structural design of earthworks, pavements and structures as well as contaminated water treatment and management. All mechanical piping and electrical reticulation.

Heavy equipment workshops

Detailed design and certification of footings, structure and electrical and mechanical services reticulation, including fire protection. Site earthworks and drainage works, as well as external aprons and hardstands. Provision of technical support during construction of the facilities.

Hunter Wine Country

Engineering design of five (5) tourist information bays for Hunter Wine Country, including access roads, intersections, carparks, drainage and ancillary structures.

Moolarben Coal, Stage 2 OC4 open cut

Feasibility study, descope Study, detail engineering design, contract documentation for new surface infrastructure for Stage 2 OC4 open cut including access roads, support buildings, Open Cut and CHPP workshop structures and services upgrades, mine infrastructure areas, water management systems including dams, drains, pumps and pipelines, and ROM Station and material handling structure earthworks and civil designs.

Dewatering Pump Station

Engineering design, contract documentation for new surface water management infrastructure for open cut including road, two dams and clean water diversion and dirty water cut-off drainage earthworks, and mechanical and electrical design of site water pumping and piping infrastructure.

Clean water diversion structures

Surface water modelling, engineering design of bulk excavation and erosion protection works. Erosion protection including turf, geosynthetics and rip rap rock.

Grade separation for heavy mining equipment and light vehicles

Detailed engineering design of earthworks, footings, select backfill, pavements and surface water drainage. Arch structures include multi-plate corrugated steel and precast concrete. Engineering assessment of existing culvert structures to allow the trafficking of unique loads not considered in the original design.

Mine Water Management

Detailed design and drafting of mine pumping infrastructure. Pump suction and discharge manifolds, including instrumentation and controls. Mine water truck fill stations, including civil works.

Moolarben Coal, OC3 Extension

Studies and detail designs for roads, drainage, dams, pumps/pipelines, Moolarben Creek crossing, and MIA infrastructure/services for extension of open cut operations.

Singleton Regional Livestock Market

Upgrade to existing Singleton Regional Livestock Market facility, including a 5,100m2 roof structure over the existing yards, extensive access and egress improvements, electrical and pumping services upgrades, fire hydrants, and Kiosk/Offices refurbishment.

Moolarben Coal, Murragamba Dam

Engineering design, contract documentation for new 500ML clean water cut-off dam including all related surface infrastructure including roads, dam and drainage earthworks, and mechanical design of dewatering infrastructure.

Reclaim tunnel for a ROM Coal Stockpile

Comprising pre-cast arch tunnel elements and cast in-situ feeder chambers. Detailed design of earthworks and structural concrete, including support elements for the mechanical installation.

Underground Mine Entry

Bulk earthworks, highwall stabilization and surface water drainage. Highwall pre-support and detail excavation for portal crown units. Precast portal crown unit installed on cast in-situ footings.

Mine Infrastructure Areas

Detailed design of site bulk earthworks, pavements and drainage, buildings and structures, electrical and mechanical services reticulation, including bulk storage facilities.

Open Cut Fuel Farm

Detail civil, structural and mechanical engineering design for upgrade to existing fuel farm, and new fuels and oil system supply to an existing Open Cut workshop.

Moolarben Water Treatment Facility

Design of mine site civil, mechanical and electrical support infrastructure to supply raw water to a new water treatment facility, and handle brine water from the facility, including roads, hardstands, dams, drainage, ancillary structures, pumps and pipelines, and associated electrical infrastructure.

Hermitage Road, Belford NSW

Detail engineering design for 10.5km of paved cycleway and road modifications for Hermitage Road at Branxton NSW. The works included a pedestrian bridge and a significant number of drainage structures, plus optimisation of the design to minimise interactions with private properties and crown land, and impacts on existing service utilities.
